«Tag Remixes»

Shortly after the release of «Tag», people were thrown directly back onto my music. There was not only the will to take from my freshly released piano pieces, it was much more the urge to give back by adding something new to it. The first ideas for samples and remixes came to me without even having asked for them. Experiencing so much response, I thought it made sense to take the album to the next level, and so I started the search for more people to work with. The perspective changed, and during this process the songs got new strength and power. The organic found in the originals is picked up in the remixes and the electronic adaptations incorporate extraordinarily much material from my compositions. All these wonderful people stroked my tunes rather than simply touching them and I directly felt the connection to my pieces as if I were looking into some kind of loony mirror.
